The cup was held by Gold Hill one year and is now in the possession of Central Point who won last season. Rogue River announces that they have two or three men out for each event and undoubtedly expect to take the trophy to the north end of the valley with them this year. A soecial trophy valued from ten to fifteen dollars will be offered for a free for all three mile run. This event is open to anyone regardless of age or in stitution which they represent and is to past into permanent possession of the successful contestant.
