Farm
Cheap money will solve many of the
farmers problems.
With the passing of Mr. Beekman, Jacksonville lost
a man whose place here will never be filled: though per
haps not “first in war” yet he was “first in the hearts of
his people” and wielded an influence, perhaps uncon
sciously, yet which was felt by all.

field. Messrs Johnson and McIntyre, nominated by the
mass meeting and Messrs Neil and Florey nominated by

busy “talking politics,” but so far the honors seem to be
about even. Take your choice and may the best men win.
