IHC Tractors Turn Expenses Into Profit
ARM economy consists more of expense
saving than of profit-making. Heavier
crops will undoubtedly be the rule some
day, but at present the problem is to raise an
average crop at the least expense in order to
show the greatest profit.
The chief expenses of grain raising are seed
bed preparation, harvesting, threshing and
hauling the grain to market. A large part of
each of these expenses can be turned into a
profit by the purchase of an
F
IHC Kerosene-Gasoline Tractor
Plowing, disking, and harrowing are accom
plished in one-tenth of the time taken by a
team. It is cheaper to use an I H C tractor
than it is to hire teams and men to do the
work. The expense of seed-bed preparation
is reduced from one-half to two-thirds when
an I H C tractor does the work.
An I H C tractor makes a wholesale opera
tion of harvesting, threshing or hauling grain
to market. During the time the crop is grow
ing and after it is marketed you will find many
other uses for your tractor, every one of them
a time, money, or labor-saving operation.
IHC tractors are made in various styles, and
in 12, 15, 20, 25 and 45-horse power sizes, for
use on large and small farms. IHC general
purpose engines are made in all styles and sizes
from 1 to 50-horse power for use in shop, mill,
and factory and for running all kinds of farm
machines. The IHC local agent will give
