Owing to publication of the proposed new charter in
this issue, our usual space for reading matter is some
what curtailed, but as the adoption of the charter is
something in which many of our readers are interested,
we feel that no apology is necessary. The charter as
presented is different in some respects from the one voted

At Ashland, Wednesday evening at
8 o’clock, Oscar W. Dunford of this
city and Miss Nellie Palmer of Ashland
were united in the holy bonds of
matrimony, in the presence of a large
number of guests, friends of the bride
and groom.
The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. C. F. Dunford of this city, and
is well known and is quite popular in
social circles. The bride is a resident
of Ashland, who was a teacher in the
public schools in thia city during the
past term.
They arrived in this city early Thurs
day morning and will reside in the
southern end of town.
The Post extends congratulations
and wishes the young couple a long
and happy married life.
