The articles of incorporation of the
Citizens Banking ami Trust Company
of Ashland, went forward to Salem
Thursday for •filing with the secretary
of.state, the incorporators being J. A.
Harvey, H. F. Pox land, C. B. Lunkin,
L. A. Neil, and *H. E. Badger. The
capitalization of the new financial con.
cern is fixed at $50,(XX), there being, it
is announced, some fifty local subscri
bers who have thus far taken stock,
which is to be apportioned in blocks of
not to exceed $2500. It is the purpose
of the organizers of the bank to build

secured on a number of different sites

one of which, it is said, is the corner
on the south side of the street, adjoin
ing the property of D. K. Mills on the
east. The bank which is planned to
make a specialty of the trust feature

ness by September, or sooner, if a
building can be completed at an earlier

two in section 31 and lot four in section 30, all in

law, and that the proceeds of the sale be applied
to the payment of lhe cos ts and expenses of suit
and attorneys fees, and costa of sale, and the
balance be divided among the plaintiffs and de
fendants in proportion to the interests Which
each has in the said property and according to
the laws of the state of Oregon. This summons
