A large number of attorneys from dif ferent sections of the county and also from adjoining counties were present to attend to the cases in which they are interested. The docket is an unusually long one, the civil suits include everything from a friendly suit to quiet title to a claim for $20,000, and the criminal docket contains charges running from larceny to rape and murder. A grand jury consisting of John Grubb, L. B. Foster, R. F. Dean, J. P. Hillis, L. Wyland, Frank Lewis and Samuel Duffield, was chosen and the usual routine, setting the different cases for trial, etc., was gone through, after which court adjourned until Wed­ nesday morning.
