Idaho, was in the city Thursday. Mr.
Eddy has accepted a position on the

As he puts it he wants to get back to
the land of plenty; where thunderstorms
and blizzards are unknown. He is a
native Oregonian, being born in
Tualatin, Washington county, Oregon
in 1874. When he was scarcely two
years old his parents moved to South
ern Oregon where they blazed out two
town sites. Mr. Eddy is a writer and
a poet of high standing. The following
was reproducen from a page of one of
his books:
