Saturday night, May 1, at 9 o ’clock, is positively the last day and hour at which reports in the Polk County P ost’s subscription campaign will be received at
their maximum voting power. A fter that a material decline in the voting schedule will become effective. This is fair warning to all contestants and to their
friends who desire to help them when help counts the most. It may easily mean the difference between success and failure,— and demands real activity on the
part of all concerned. TH IS W E E K ’S R E SU LTS COUNT FA ST!
Long term subscriptions count the most. A few such subscriptions now from unexpected sources may be the deciding factors in the race. You— Contestant or
Subscriber— will only lose by holding back. You have everything to gain by being active before Saturday night; everything to lose by being slow to act. It is
a critical period of the race. This is fair warning.
