In every trade, profession or branch of work there are found a few men who, from special fitness or education, or both, are bet ter prepared to serve you in their line than the multitude of oth ers in the same field. Since optometry requires especial ability in both professional and mechanical work, men that are fitted to do both equally well are scarce Therefore, you cannot be too particular about the selection of the man to whom you entrust your eyes. The professional work, the examining and measuring of your eye defects, must be skillfully done The mechanical part, the making and adjusting of your glasses, is no less important. I am making a specialty of correcting children’s eyes. MY PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE for the material and ser vice you will receive and I guarantee satisfaction in every re spect. A large portion of the funds to be raised in the United Simultaneous Campaign of the Protestant denomina tions associated with the Interchurch W orld M ovem ent will be used for Am erican Ministerial support and re lief. It la greatly needed, according to leaders of the Interchurch Move ment, who early In April are to hold the conference In this county. As a result o f the campaign now being made by the Interchurch World M ovem ent the com p lied Protestant churches of Am erica will provide many m ore hospitals, clinics and homes for the aged and infirm. An interesting feature of these Protestant hospitals will be free treatment for ministers, as recent surveys made by the Inter- church organization have made the need for special dispeneatlona very obvious. The follow ing startling facts were divulged as to the average salaries in the various denominations. Starting with the highest, the average for Epis copal ministers is $1,242; the average for Presbyterian (N orth ), $1,177; for the United Presbyterians, $1,09$; for the Reform ed Church (D utch ). $1,170; for the M ethodist Episcopal (N orth), $1,176; Congregational, $1,042, and for the Baptists (N orthern), $950. 46 Here is a brief and logical analysis of that campaign as it will effect the town, the home merchant, the sub scriber, the participant in the campaign and The Post.
