Ninety per cent of the tire makers raised tire prices March 8. But
Pennsylvania A’acuum Cups have hot advanced. In addition we are au
thorized to give with each Casing one tube free. The Pennsylvania is a
sturdy (>(MH) mile tire, luvs been B U IL T on a H00 mile basis for many years.
At the present moment with no advance in its price and a tube free,
it is the Biggest Tire Bargain in the world.
But the advance may come at any moment.
Again we were hit with the price of gasoline. All oils and gasolines
have shot up during the last year. Yet, because of our carload purchase
before the recent advance in oil prices, we can offer you in bulk quanti

The stay of the battle cruiser Re
nown in our waters, says the Scien
tific American, has raised a discus
sion as to which are the longest
ships afloat. Of course, among mer
chant ships the Leviathan, 950 feet
long, is the longest, with the lin-
perator and the Aquitania, each 900
feet long, of the Cunard line, com
ing next.
Among warships, the
longest in commission today are the
Renown and her sister, the Repulse,
each being 789 feet. But the long
est warship constructed and soon to
go into commission, is the British
battle cruiser Hood, which is 900
feet in length and about 42,000 tons
full load displacement. Our navy
department has designed six battle
cruisers 875 feet in length.

Ruth Douglas was a girl who want
ed to take no matrimonial chances.
So when Washburn as LeRoy Syl
vester, a model young men if there
ever was one, whispered the usual
sweet nothings in her ear she re
fused him. Why? Well, he was
too model. He had never taken a
drink in his life. He had never
looked side ways at any other girl
but herself. He had never played
cards! Frankly, Ruth was afraid
of him—because he was so good!
Then LeRoy sallied forth and scat
tered a few wild oats to the four
winds before the ceremony took
place. This was in the way of in
surance for Ruth. If you are look
ing for a good, hearty laugh, just
step around.
Patrons of the Isis will welcome
Dustin Farnum in his big super-
feature, “The Light of Western
Stars," which will be shown Tues
and Wednesday. This famous stage
and screen star will be seen as the
wild, but lovable Gene Stewart, ace
cowl>oy of the Southwestern border.
With Farnum’s virile, convincing
talent and the most thrillingly fas
ciuation of Zane Grey’s masterly
stories the picture teems with ex
citing interest.
The plot deals
with the adventures which arise
out of Gene Stewart's wild wagep-
that he would marry Ihe first girl
who blew into the little Western
town. When he carried out his
wager further than he knew ami
the girl proves to be a sister of the
rancher whose foreman Stewart is,
things happen quick, and the audi-
ence swings between hope and fear
right up to the final picture.
