The people of the City of Independ
ence do ordain as follows :
Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful during
the months, of Mny, June, July, August,
September and October, each ysar, for
any person owning or keeping chickens,
or other domestic fowls, within tlie City
of Independence, to allow them to run
at large. '
' Sec, 2 Any person violating the pro
viaiona of this ordinance, upon convic
tion thereof, shall be fined in any sum
not exceeding ten (10) dollars, nor leaa
than one (1) dollar, in addition tn costs.
