Among tbe many Interesting things
that took place on Memorial Day, was
a drill by a class of forty-mue school
children, who bad been drilled by Mrs.
Tuck.
The children represented the states
and territories, and the District of
Columbia. They were leJ by their
captain, Grant Robertson, who gave
the orders tu a creditable manner.
They first marched in and to the front
ol the stage, all dressed in red, white
and blue, saluted, marched to rear aud
went through with a drill march, all
keeping step aud obeying tbe orders
of their captaiu, At the close of the
drill each child stepped to the front,
recited an appropriate verse and laid
flowers ou the uimiud, afterward they
aog "America" kneeling as they at tig
the last verse. Aftet going through
the drill again they retired. All of
this time each one carried a small flag.
Each one spoke real well aud acted

It was during a recent conversation
with Mr. A. H. Cransby, the well

wonderful esse. Mr. Cransby U well
known in Memphis and surrounding
country, and nov resides at lfttl Kerr

"Just ten years ago," said he, "my
wife noticed a small lump In bsr breast.
She thought nothing of It, but it in
creased In slue rspldly, and soon broke
through the skin, and commenced to
discbarge. She was put under treat
ment of the beat physicians, but they
very soon found that tbey oould do her
do good, sod simply prwaoribed antisep
tics to keep the plsce clean. Both bar
grandmother ana aunt, by tbe way, had
died with cancer, and when apprised ot
this fact, the doctors told me that thsy
would not attempt to save her; that she
was incurable. Although tbe cancer
had by this time become deep seated,
and her health very low, I had one of
the most noted specialists of New York
to treat her. Aftsr treating her awhile,
this doctor admitted that tha case was
bopeleas and further treatment uaelsss.
It is difficult to Irasgine bow despondent
we all became, knowing that she must
die, and unabls to give her any relief.
I bad spent over five hundred dollars
with the best medical skill to be had,
and felt that there was no turthsr hops.
"One dsy I happened to read an ad
vertisement of fci. B. S., reoommendlng
that remedy for cancer, and ia view of
the failure of the most eminent phy
slclans in the country, I confess I had
little faith left In any human agency.
However, I purchased a bottle of 8.3. S.,
and to my delight, it seemed to benefit
her; after she bad taken a couple of bot
tles, tba cancer began to heal, and as
tonishing as it may seem, a few bottles
more ou red her entirely . You can prob
ably better understand how remarka
ble this cure was, when I explain that
the cancer hail eaten two holes in the
breast two inches deep. These healed
up entirely, and although ten years have
elapsed, not a sign of the disease has
ever returned, and we are assured of
the permanence of the cure, whioh we
at flrat doubted.
" I oortaiuly regard 8.S.S. aa ths most
wonderful remedy in the world, and it is
truly a God-send to those afflicted with
this terrlbla disease. Yes sir," he con
cluded, "you may be sure that I shall
always be grateful to that remsdy, for
without it my horns would now be deso
late and my children motherlass."-
