A number of the members of the Co. have l>een down to the range the past week, and the results of the shooting up to September 21 are as classified and printed l>elow. These scores are at 100, 200, and 300 yards ranges. Shortly, two new ranges—500 and 600 yards—will be ready for practice ; also a skirmish test over the 600 yards range, in which the men will be required to individually judge the distances shot, setting the sights accordingly. The McKinley and Hobart club, of this place, held its regular meeting in the city hall last Friday evening. The attendance was good; ladies were present also. As usual, several good, appropriate speeches were made. The glee club has been organized, and rendered its first selection Friday eve ning, making a “great hit.” The club has received a large amount of bunting, buttons, flags, literature and other cam paign attraction.
