than before and probably is now as
heavy ns it will ho at any time dur
ing tho season. There are few black
grapes now uvailabln and they can
not ho hail except in limited quantities
in mixed ears, Thoro are a few Mus
cats still obtainable, but only in very
small quantities. No straight ears
can bo had. Malagas are still going
forward, but the movement is nearly
over. The Tokay shipments are heavy
ami will continue in (food volume un
til the end of the season unless in
terfered with sooner by adverse con
ditions. Weather has been very fa
vorable and the fruit is coloring sat
isfactory and is sweet. Dealers in
western markets will he making n
serious mistake if they do not send
in their orders liberally, for this va
riety of fruit, ns they never have
been able to get a better article at
more satisfactory prices. There
should be a splendid demand, and
we are satisfied that if the grape
consuming public nf the cast could
have an opportunity to buy this fruit
at as reasonable prices as are justi
fied by our f. o. b quotations thnt
the consumption of the same would
be many times greater than ever he
