Aikins of this place and Frank Dickey of Ashland returned Thursday evening from a hunting trip on Elk creek, where they each suc ceeded in landing a fat buck and enjoyed the delights of camp life for eight or ten days. J. O. Isaacson and party returned from their ramping trip last Friday evening and report having had a most enjoyable time. They camped on the south fork of Rogue river, about 16 . miles northeast from Butte Falls and had a delightful camping place. The fishing was good and whilo in camp the parti," caught all they wanted. It is Mr. Isaacson's belief, however, that the deer were lint fat and for that reason, if for no other, they refrained from killing any of the beautiful creatures. Mr. Isaacson was greatly benefited by the trip and took on many pounds of flesh and tan while away. Kev. and Mrs. P. A.
