Officiate o the Warren Construction company, which has the contract for paving with biliilitliic, Muin street from IIcl man to Pourthstroets, from Main to A have been in Ashland the past few days taking preliminary survey of the field and will return in a few days' to looate the most convenient supply of rock avnilubte for base and get ready for active operations, which it is hoped to got under way by June 15. Considerable heavy machinery has to be assembled here for the job. The curb contractors are only wait ing for orders to begin their part of the job which is preliminary to the paving. The work of construction horc will be in charge of Mr. Cnpelund as sup erintendent for the Warren Construe tiocnmpnny, while the supervision on behalf of the city will be give by Mr. Hong, from Albany who has ar rived and wil rejiort for duty tomor row. The beginning of actual operations in street paving promisis to mark an epoch iu the history of Ashland and it is predicted that the completion of of the first contract will only be the beginning of such work here.
