For census j purposes a farm is to constitute land under one management, though con- sisttng ot different tracts upon which ! agricultural products, including an imals or fowls are raised or produc ed. It is intended to ascertain the total number of acres of improved or unimproved land, the value of the en tire farm, of nil buildings on the farm, and of all implements and ma chinery belonging to the farm. By the time the farmer has got through answering questions of the census enumerators he will have fur nished information which will show the degree of his prosperity, the need of federal assistance in connection with the cultivation of his property, and the desirability of the social movement advocated by President Roosevelt for the purpose of making country life more attractive to its followers.
