In the case of Howard Edmunds Judge Galloway made the sentence heavy because he had been up before the courts nnd the judge several times for gambling. The judge remitted the jail sentence during good behavior. As a number of witnesses are alleg ed to huvc perjured themselves on the witness stand during the local option eases in this county, it is expected that the judge will advise the district attorney to prosecute them. . It developed that one Frank Roberts picked up the animal on the range, and posted it as an cstrny at Fugle I'oint. Later he sold the marc to Thomas Fallow, who in turn sold it to Nimrod Charley.
