Yukon -Pacific Exposition, and during

Ellery's bands will divide the season
and theen will be heard daily.
The Temple of Music is rent rally
located, and in thin beautiful build
ing, continuous poocerts will be given
free from the first dny of June until
the closing day on the nizteenth of
October. A number of handsome
hand stands have been erected at
various point h, and these are so dis

every part of the grounds.
Shorter eoncert seasons have been
arranged for orchestras and bonds

heard in the auditorium, and this new

SEATTLK. WASH., May 7. The
ampitheatre of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific
exposition has' been accom
plished partly by human efforts, but
for the must part the work has been
done b nature. On the precipitous
shores of Lake Washington, looking
across a suecesion of bays, and snow
topped peaks of the Cascades are
brought clearly into view, and this
forms the background of the ampi
theatre stage. " Three sides arise
from the floor, and these have i
stately upward slope; only in the de
velopmcnt of these natural seating
places has it been uecessary for work
to be expended. '
About the tiered suies the ampi
theatre, chairs rise one above the
other, and in the vast forest theatre.
