The Temple of Music is rent rally located, and in thin beautiful build ing, continuous poocerts will be given free from the first dny of June until the closing day on the nizteenth of October. A number of handsome hand stands have been erected at various point h, and these are so dis HMscd that music will be heard in every part of the grounds. Shorter eoncert seasons have been arranged for orchestras and bonds Itrorn foreign countries, and among hc-.e will he heard the Philippine ''onstnbulnry bund and the National Baud of Mexico. Vocal and solo, also instrumental concerts will be heard in the auditorium, and this new permanent building represents one ol of the very finest halls for such pur pose, that is to he found in the Tinted States. Of great iintntaitce and asitauee to concerts held in 'the auditorium will he the new organ uhich has 1 it-en installed lor the ex position. This instrument U one ot the largest pipe urgnns yet built, and in tone and (Ktssibilitie is not iir passcil. The ampitheatre of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific exposition has' been accom plished partly by human efforts, but for the must part the work has been done b nature. On the precipitous shores of Lake Washington, looking across a suecesion of bays, and snow topped peaks of the Cascades are brought clearly into view, and this forms the background of the ampi theatre stage. " Three sides arise from the floor, and these have i stately upward slope; only in the de velopmcnt of these natural seating places has it been uecessary for work to be expended. ' About the tiered suies the ampi theatre, chairs rise one above the other, and in the vast forest theatre. thirty thousand people can have com fort able and sightly positions. Sur rounded at the back and sides to tow ering trees of Douglas fir and mas sive cedar, the place seems to have been created by giants of old for spectacular events; it is so fash-' meri and designed, that ojien uir ac- 1 nasties produce results which could be generally looked for, only within t the walls of structures built with ; this property always in mind. ! It was in this spot that the fir.-l , -hovel i!' earth was rcinoed in the, building of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. Without any work of j preparation, twenty-five thousand people were easily accomodated with- ; in it's border.-. During the enur-e ol the exposition, the ampitheatre will i be the scene of many interesting event-, and with its arrangement a now perfected will afford the grand-c-t out of doors theatre in exi-tence : ROSF.BURG BONDS ARE TURNE DDOWN SECOND TIME ltOKEP,n.O.
