The exact location of the find has not been made public, but it is a very promising pruspect.fi we are reliably informed. The parties in interest will commence the development of the property at once, and before many months it is hoped that it will be proven as of great magni tude. The rock which has been taken out of a number of these places has, been examined by experts and tho gen eral opinion is that this section will finally turn out to be the richest in the state. It is the general opinion that the whole district is rich and that there is enough wealth in the hills to make our Oregon the richest mining state in the Union. The mayor, who is a cattle dealer valued the young woman at so much per pound. Her weight was found to be 160 pounds, and the bridegroom handed over $60, apparently much pleased with his bargain. The stimulus to the trade in human hair comes from France, though Italy also supplies much. Japan nnd China export a great del nf hair to France, but it is too coarse for the English market. The favorite shades of hair aro au burn and blonde, the ligher hair reflect ing the light nnd lending itself to more elaborate dressing.
