The performance tonight at the Savoy
is a particularly strong ouo, being en
tortuinhig, instructive and amusing. The
houdliner in "The Pun or of Labor."
It in a beautiful Btory picture portraying
the troubles of capital and labor in the
steel works. Through tl.o picture runs
a prettv love story. The acting in the
best and the scenery is very renlistlc.

What promises to be the greatest meet
ing the Christian church has ever held
in Medford has been in progress just
two aightH and the audiences already
tax the seating capacity of the church.
Mr. Winston preached a splendid ser
men hist night on tli subject, "(lod's
Highway." Mr. Forrest Fdmeads song
a solo in a very effective manner. Mr.
Longman led the large chorus hint night,
lie has a beautiful tenor voice. The au
dience enjoys the solos and the spirited
singing. It is very inspiring.
The hrriuons are directly to the in
tellect, iih well as the heart. Winston
knows how to preach.
Tomorrow promises to be a great day.

lithographed map of Jackson comity.

villages, rivers and waterways, section and
survey lines, railroads and projected rail
roads, wagon roads, forest reserve bounda
ries, election precincts and other data need
ed by everyone. All townships shown in
colors.
This up-to-date n ap will be ready for
distribution some time in December. It will
be sold only through The Tribune and
. Southern Oregonian.

tions are out of print; and plates were des
