ing Hrugger in his place of butmies.
Mrs. Hrugger was talking to her
hunhnud from her home when she dis
tinctly heard over the wire the com
mand: "Hands tip" then she heard
three hIioIh. Hrugger dropped tho re
ceiver and chased the bandit while in
ngniiy of suspense Mra. Hrugger waited
till her himbuud came back to the tele
phone and informed her that he was
shot but not badly hurt. The thug
fired three shots, one of which hit the
salooninan in the hip and another in
the right leg. Ho escaped.
