upon which the estimates of a pumping

Mr. Huberts stales that his estimates
of Juno 30 were based upon the offer I
mudo a few days before by tho Condor ,
company, in which they submitted a '
pumping proportion. Tho estimated

in the esliinated cost. In estimating i

The difference iu t he various est i

fact that tho first estimate was for a
filler holding Kl.ono.nuo gullotiH of wa

subsequent estimates. In the eHlimate

who is the bent authority on filtration
in the United States, On n basis of
80,00(1 population the capitalisation for
filters under Hava 's eHlimate would
bo li0,000.
The second estimate of I lie cohI of
filters was based upon I lie cost of the
Oregon City filler as supplied by Dr.
Kay, namely, $15,000 for a million gat
Ion filter. The estimated cost of the
filtration plant under the climate of
OctolH'i' 'JH was also based upon these
figures, only a four-million gallon sup
