IN ROOSEVELT'S ANN ANIAS CLUB
CHICAGO, Oct. 17. Republican If d

over the -"break" which Representa
tive Loagworth, the president 'a Buu-in-law,
made in his speech at Rock Island,
111., in which he outlined the lioosuvclt
dynasty. Prince Nicholas has been called
down hard for letting the eat out of the
bag, and after allowing the matter to
rest for three dayB has issued a mild
sort of denial. He did this after boast
ing on the day .following his utterance,
that he was making a collection of clip
pings from newspaper comments and
intended to send them to the president,
who, ho Baid, he know would be very
much pleased. --
The democratic national committee
has procured affidavits from persons

mighty force the sturdy little Roose

prises four skin tents, called 'Tupiks'
by the Eskimos.
"We havo tnken on coal from our
supply ship, the Erisk, and she will

through the arctic pack and winter in
some snug cove up at Capo Sheridan.
Aftor that has been passed the work
