The euse was given to the jury this evening, Judge Kerstea of the criminal court instructing the jurors to bring in a sealed verdict tomorrow morning. The defendant was confident of ac quittal when she left the courtroom. The defense asserted that Mrs. Webb signed the $"i0 check which caused her trouble under a misapprehension. She had money in one bank, it was said, but inadvetileiitly signed a check on an i list it ut ion from which her funds had been withdraw n.
