An ordinance regulating the sale of
merchandise from wagons, carts, ve
hicles or other portable stands or np
pa rat us upon Seventh street and Cen
tral avenue, in the City of Medford, Or-
egou, and providing penalty for the
violation thereof.
Tho City of Medford doth ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Hereafter it shall be un
lawful in the City of Medford, Oregon,
for any person, firm or corporation,
either as proprietor or proprietors,
agent or agents, employe or employes,
engaged iu selling or offering for sale
any goods, wares or merchandise of any
description whatever, from any wagon,
cart, vehicle or other portable stand or
apparatus, upon tho streets of said city,
to allow such wagon, cart, vehicle or
other portablo stand or nppnratus from j
which such goods, wnres or merchandise
are sold or offered or exposed for sole
to remain stationary at any place upou
Seventh street or Central avenue in
said city, for a longer period of time
than fivo minutes.
Section 2. Any person, firm or co
porntion convicted of violating tlio prj
visions of Section 1 of this ordinaneo
shall be punished by u fine of not loss
than ono dollar nor more than five del
lnrs, and in default of the payment, ol
such fine shall be imprisoned in the
citv jail one dav for each $2 of such
fine remaining unpaid.
The foregoing ordinance was passed
