SOUTH STATE CHAMPIONS
Having defeated the debating t'-ams
of the high schools of Koseburg, Klam
ath Falls, Ashland, Medford and Marsh-
field, the Grants Pass debating team has
been declared the champion of southern
Oregon. The trio is composed of Miss
olwin Hughes. FnoM Oilkey and Ran
dall Hood. All three ate mimliers of
the graduating class and stand high a-i
students. Their hut debato was with
the Mnrshfiehl team at Roseburg.
