feet of timber. The market value of

The action was taken to check waste-1
ful exploitation of timber resources I

land instead of selling it. The most of
the leasing has boen done the past
three or four years, and Amoricans
hold tho largest part of the 10,000
leases now in force. The leaso is, in I
