By
.V good start means much to you. Get off on the riht
foot and keep going. Don't continue to throw money
away by paying rent, vhcn you can own your own home.
How much did you pay out for rent during 1907? Stop
and figure it out. What have you got to show for it?
Nothing but a bunch of receipts. Suppose You had put
this money into building a home and buying a lot ? You'd
have something to show for your coin, wouldn't you? The
same thing holds true in the coining year. Are you going
to waste your mazuma all year, and have 1908 net .you noth
ing but a living? Ask your wife about it, and see what
she says.
Building is going to be cheaper this year than ever.
You can buy practically at your own terms. We sell all
kinds of lumber everything needed in any kind of a
house from a small cabin to a palatial mansion. We also
sell Booth-Kellv lumber.

A SQUARE DEAL
Tho Rogue River TjUikI Company has always contended that,
there in no good reason why the real estate business cannot bo
earned mi honorably ami honestly, with due regard for the rights
of both purchaser and landowner. Actuated by thin opinion, the
curnmiiy has never yet misrepresented aH to the diameter of tluf
soil or tint quality of the fruits produced on same, with the result,
that all who have bought orchards through this agency so far
eould Hell out, if desirable, at an advance of 1(H) to 500 per cent
above the purchase price. This is a history of which we are
proud, and we shall continue along the same lines in the future.
Men who come into this favored valley looking for a new place
of abode are entitled to fair treatment. We only ash of them
that'they will exercise ordinary business sagacity in investigating
the resources of the valley before buying.
There are three tilings t lie average investor wants, if he buys
country property in this valley. First and foremost, he wants a
liuine wnere he and his family can enjoy good health and the fruits
of this section. I'sually he wants to get located where he is within
e;isv reach of the hading commercial centers nnd close to local
markets. And he always wimts property which will bring in a
good income and is sure to advance in value as the valley develops.
Will lie be apt 1o tiud this combination in the hands of the
street corner broker or the average "butter in" who persecutes
the houiesi-eker about the hotel offices? When one considers that,
the situation is not urging many men with good holdings to sacri
fice their property here, it is up to the horncseeker to apply to the
regular dealer for what, he wants. If lie wants the
VERY BEST IN THE WHOLE VALLEY
he must apply to the Koguo Kiver Land Company. When in Med
ford, do not fail to call on the
