REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WEAR
Duof old HealthUnderwear
) UOFOLD HEALTH UNDER

rics, it is warmer than a single fabric
oftwiee the thickness. The good house
wife puts a double blanket on the bed for
the same reason. The outer fabric in
Duof old Health Underwear excludes the
cold, the inner retains the heat.
D UOFOLD HEALTH UNDER
WEAR, being made from two light fab
rics interknit, it has warmth without
bulk or weight, the inner fabric being
made of very fine combed cotton and at
tached to the outer fabric of wool, keeps
the wool from shrinking. The good
housekeeper, in washing a piece of lace,
sews it to a cotton fabric to keep the lace
from shrinking. -

rics with the air space between, bears to
the human body the same relation as that
of the double window of the house. Air
being a non-conductor of cold, the gar
ment made of two separate fabrics with
an air space between is wanner than a
single garment of double the thickness.
DUOFOLD S inner fabric of cotton
with air cells between the impurities of
the body are absorbed by the outer fab
ric, while in the ordinary single garment
the impurities are retained next to the
skin.
DUOFOLD HEALTH UNDER
WEAR, being made with the inner fab
ric of a very fine'eottfm, is soft, and can
therefore be worn by those who would
like to wear wool, but think thev cannot.
DUOFOLD HEALTH UNDER
WEAR has twice the absorbing and ven
tilating qualities of a single fabric.

MANY PEOPLE HEADED
THIS WAY FROM EAST
The somewhat disturbed financial
situation in the cast and south is caus
ing industrial institutions in the older
states to investigate the opportunities
for a more advantageous home in the
great Pacific Northwest, or lit least
thia would bp indicated by the fact
that the Portland Commercial club has
had more correspondence on this sub
ject within the last fin days than dur
ing the previous 1- months.
The immigration to Oregon and
Washington this year ought to be dou
ble that of last. In no other two states
hns every character of crop yielded
so enormously and commanded such u
high price. People in the older com
munities are disposed to move, nnd the
Pacific Northwest should get more
than its proportion of new citizens, but
to accomplish this all the commercial
bodi-s must work in harmony and in
dividuals must participate through pri
vate correspondence, which is the
strongest influence of all.

him to all of my customers and friend.
