Announcement
Mrs. Irene Hampton Isaacs has opened a studio
at her residence on East Seventh street, and will
receive piano pupils after January 1.
Mrs. Isaacs is a young musician of extraordi nary
ability and talent, who through years of
arduous study and application has brought her
self to the highest plane of musical thought and
intelligence. Prom earliest youth her munir:,
education has been in charge of the best masters
in the east, and she has lately completed a course
under II err Herman Genss a pupil of the great
Liszt himself, and by far the greatest teacher in
America.
Ilerr Genss rightly claims the distinction of
teaching the only absolutely correct method of
piano forte playing, and declares that without
tli is method it is impossible for one to become an
artist.
Musically, Mrs. Isaacs has the rare charm of
poetic feeling and a delicate touch united with
great power, which enables her to interpret
equally the airiest waltz of Chopin and to sound
the depths of Beethoven. Ilerr Genss placed no
limits to Mrs. Isaacs' art. In an interview he
declared, "She can become what she will one of
the world's greatest."

For the Last
Time This Year
For tlie last three years we have claimed a Fart of your patronage and
are pleased to say we are satisfied with what we have gotten. We have
tried to please, and for the balance of this year or until Christmas we will
give you 10 per cent off of any goods you may buy, but after that time
the old prices will prevail.
The panic has had no effect on us at all, and with the new year we
will stock up and serve you hotter than ever.
The city council has decreed that you and each and all of you shall
place numbers on your houses, and I have them to sell you so cheap
that you can't refuse to buy them. Come in and see them. If you have
not yet put in your guess, you had better get busy at once. -
