PLAN INVESTIGATION
OF PULLMAN COMPANY
Interstate Commerce 'oinmissioner
IVanklin K. I.ane. who is now in San
l'Yunciseo, has d:M:itched a 'fecial ox
arirni r to St. Paul to take testimony in
tli. complaints lodged against the Pull
man Car company. These complaints
take the form of protests against the
charges of the company, the service and
alleged discriminations.
The real s;guif icance of the hearing
lies in the fact that it is the Hrst at
tempt of the commission to regulate
the Pullman company. The company
will demur on the ground that the com
mission larks jurisdiction, ami the
question will go to the courts.
