Roberts returned yesterday from a
visit to Wasson canyon, where they
went to look after water matters for
the city. They decline to give a re

visit at this time.
Harry Angle, ex-chlef of police of
Medford, returned to the city yester
day from a three months' stay at his
placer mine on Grouse creek. He
has cleaned off a good bit of bedrock,
but has made no clean-up as yet. The
ground has nil been rich and he is ex
pecting a good showing when the
clean-up Is made.
