Methods
Pa wa reading in a book
of finanoe the other evening,
wbere it said, "Don't put U
yonr egg in one basket; try
an incubator." It take more
than an incubator to batch
out any new scheme for in
ereaing business now-a-dayi.
I tell you the people are ga
ting to be wine old nwl. My
boes used to go into all kinds
of gift enterprise that looked
anywhere near right, and give
away waluable piemiunit
withi every purchase. We
don't do that any more ex
cepting a few coupons that
tbe manufacturers put np in
their packages. The only
scheme we use to make
people buy good of ua il
good goods, courteous treat
ment and your money back
if you want it without any
biek talk. The boss saya,
"We've beeu giving the
people better and better
valuee every year, but wt
want to give still better
valuee. It is not how much
will an article bring, but bow
low can we sell it." You
