Messrs. Lee and Healey came out
last week and olosed the deal for the
Daley saw mill, on Round Top, con
sideration-$1500. They have also ne
gotiated for a large lot of timber in
that vicinity. They expect to have
the mill running next week. The
ohange will work a great benefit to
thi9 section of the country, as we have
not been able to procure a sufficient
amount of lumber here for local pur

will be several new buildings go up
here this summer and fall. People
are already looking around for suit
able lots for building purposes.
The sad intelligence reached us last
Sunday evening that Mrs. Charles
Heilft, of Lake creek, died Sunday
morning. She was apparently as well
as ever when she woke up and her
husband suggested that she lay and
rest, whjle the eins prepared break
fast, and when the girls went to call
her, she was dead. That is as far as
I have been able to learn the particu
lars, but suppose that your corres
pondent, Bro. Kenuoy, will furnish
your readers with all of the facts in
the case. The many friends of the
family here deeply sympathize with
them in their hour of sad bereave

reads over the names of those who
were present, they will conclude that
