A few weeks ago J. H. Messncr,
veterinary surgeon, while treating a
horse was blood poisoned by getting
some of the discharge from a wound on
the animal into a scratch ou his finger.
His hand soon showed inflammation
and the little scratch soon became very
painful and at this time a well defined
case of blood poisoning has developed .
While no serious results are looked for
the affliction Is none the less a matter
of some alarm.

this county, but of late years a resident
