It's Kulloy, tho train wreckor, from
this time on. It happened like this:
Yesterday morning the wiud was blow
ing a pretty stiff gale from Iho south.
An empty wood car was standing ou
a side track In the Medford yard, noar
the north end, and tho heavy wind per
suaded It to move out onto tho main
line. There Is a decided down grade
from here to Tolo and tho car didn't do
a thing but hit tho high places with
tho wind pushing It. - It passed Central
Point at a speed of twenty, miles an
hour. Joe Kelley and his section bojs
were at work about a mile and a half
north of Central Point, and upon see
ing the .wild car coming they began
lively worn preparatory to wrecking it'
which they succeeded In doiqg in
very acceptable mannor by piling ties
crosswaya of the track. Tho wreck
was soon cleared and the passenger
train was only a fow minutes late in
consequence thereof.
