the motion carried with a shout.
The oommitiee on resoluticns sub
mitted the following report:
"Resolved, That we affirm our
unswerving fealty to the gold stand

instruct our delegates to the Na
tional Republican Convention to
support an unquivocal statement on
this line aB a part of the National
platform ; that we heartily endorse
tne wise and patriotio administra
tion of our National affairs, and we
declare the policy of expansion as
essential to our National growth
and greatnees, and we believe that
the blessings whioh acorue to those

should forever remain.

was rendered for the plaintiff. The
importance of this case is euoh that
it will no doubt go to the supreme
court for final judgment.
