$600 scholarship to pursue his degree
in Diesel Technology or Mechanized Ag
Systems at Southeast Community Col-
lege, Milford, Neb. Mosier’s scholarship
was donated by Travis Pattern & Found-
ry and Universal Sales. Komet Irrigation
Corp. sponsored Mosier.
*Noah Mosier, son of Joshua and
Nicole Mosier, Deshler, received an
$800 scholarship to pursue his degree
in Electromechanical Technology at
Southeast Community College, Milford,
Neb. Mosier’s scholarship was donated
by Hastings Irrigation Pipe Co. and the
IIEA. Komet Irrigation Corp. sponsored
Mosier.
*Justin Nesbitt, son of Quentin and
Julie Nesbitt, Eagle, received a $1,500
scholarship to pursue his degree in Bio-
logical and Agricultural Engineering at
the University of Idaho. Nesbitt’s schol-
arship was donated by Butte Irrigation
and friends in memory of Ty Bedke, an
employee of Butte Irrigation and son
of Trace and Sheri Bedke, who left this
world and this industry too soon. Idaho
Power Co. sponsored Nesbitt.
*Kristin Nesbitt, daughter of Quentin
and Julie Nesbitt, Eagle, received a
$1,000 scholarship to pursue her
degree in Biology and Animal Science
at the University of Idaho. Nesbitt’s

scholarship was donated by Rain For
Rent. She is the Don Billings Irrigation
Memorial Leadership Scholarship Win-
ner sponsored by Rain For Rent. Idaho
Power Co. sponsored Nesbitt.
Kaedy Pardew-Peck, daughter of
Ann Pardew-Peck & C. Bryant Peck,
Eagle, received a $600 scholarship to
pursue her degree in Agribusiness at
the University of Idaho. Pardew-Peck’s
scholarship was donated by Valmont
Industries and the IIEA. Interwest
Supply sponsored Pardew-Peck.
Dallin Polson, son of Mark and Becky
Polson, Rigby, received a $1,000
scholarship to pursue his degree in Civil
Engineering at Utah State University.
Polson’s scholarship was donated by
Lindsay Corporation in memory of Ellis
Kay Stanger. Agri-Service sponsored
Polson.
*Lexus Rawlings, daughter of Bill and
Darci Rawlings, Preston, received a
$1,000 scholarship to pursue her de-
gree in Biology at Idaho State Universi-
ty. Rawlings is a recipient of the Bernie
Fischer Memorial Scholarship donated
by B.A. Fischer Sales Company Inc. BD
Sales & Supply sponsored Rawlings.
Julia Reese, daughter of Doug and
Jackie Reese, Deary, received a $500
scholarship to pursue her degree in
Civil Engineering-Water Resources
and Ag Systems Management at the
University of Idaho. Reese’s scholarship
was donated by The Sprinkler Shop.
*Jessi Schmitz, daughter of Eric and
Lisa Schmitz, Kimberly, and grand-
daughter of Kermit Cochran, received a
$600 scholarship to pursue her degree
in Dental Hygiene at College of South-
ern Idaho. Schmitz’s scholarship was
donated by the IIEA. Farmore of Idaho
sponsored Schmitz.
Preston Searle, son of Ron and
Dayle Searle, Shelley, received a $500
scholarship to pursue his degree
in Agribusiness at Brigham Young
University-Idaho. Searle’s scholarship
was donated by Senninger Irrigation
and Inman InterWest Inc. 2M Company
sponsored Searle.
*Tyler Seely, son of Stuart and Shawna
Seely, Idaho Falls, received a $700
scholarship to pursue his degree in Me-
chanical Engineering at Brigham Young
University-Idaho. Seely’s scholarship
was donated by WISH Northwest and
IPS Weld-On. Golden West Irrigation
sponsored Seely.
*Nicholas Smith, son of Clay and
Jackie Smith, Bountiful, Utah, received
a $1,000 scholarship to pursue his de-
gree in Engineering at Southern Utah
University. Smith is a recipient of the
Bernie Fischer Memorial Scholarship
donated by B.A. Fischer Sales Company
Inc.
Bailey Storms, daughter of Kevin and
Honore Storms, Idaho Falls, received a
$700 scholarship to pursue her degree
in Ag Economics and Agribusiness at
the University of Idaho. Storms’ schol-
arship was donated by Clemons Sales
Corp., JM Eagle, Action Machining, and
the IIEA. The Idaho Falls branch of Rain
For Rent sponsored Storms.
Finn Townsley, son of Steve and
Alyson Townsley, Boise, received a $500
scholarship to pursue his degree in
Environmental Science at Westminster
College. Townsley’s scholarship was
donated by Mitchell Lewis & Staver and
Waters & Associates. Evergreen Sprin-
kler Supply sponsored Townsley.
Jason Wade, son of Alan and Joann
Wade, Weston, received a $500
scholarship to pursue his degree in
Agricultural Education at West Texas
A&M. Wade’s scholarship was donated
by Toro, Weather Tec and the IIEA.
Agri-Service sponsored Wade.
Dustin Winston, son of Stoney and
Brooke Winston, Middleton, received a
$700 scholarship to pursue his degree
in Agricultural Economics at the Univer-
sity of Idaho. Winston’s scholarship was
donated by Matco-Norca and the IIEA.
The Nampa branch of Rain For Rent
sponsored Winston.
The IIEA’s Scholarship Program received
the Idaho Governor’s Award for Excel-
lence in Agriculture in the Education/
Advocacy category at the 2012 Larry
Branen Idaho Ag Summit. The IIEA was
established in 1971 and membership
consists of more than 115 separate
entities including wholesale suppliers,
retail dealers, equipment manufac-
turers and public utilities engaged in
serving Idaho’s agricultural and land-
scape irrigation equipment needs.
