The Smith family has been milking on this Farm since 1955 in Nampa, ID. This is a closed herd of cows. Rocky & Laurie Smith have been
running the dairy since the late 80’s. Rocky passed away 18 months ago. Rocky was a great friend to many and a big time supporter of
4H. He mentored many kids & his love for animals and the dairy industry shows in his herd. This is a very young A.I. bred herd milking 2x
with a 68# milk average and a Somatic Cell Count of 130,000. There is no myco or staph in the herd. Cows are not being pushed and
have the breeding to give a lot more milk. Top Bulls from Semex – Select Sire & ABS are what the cows are bred to. Cattle will be sorted
