The Willamette Valley Ag
Expo opens its 17th year will
the most exhibitors ever.
Some 180 exhibitors
— up from 168 last year
— will offer their services,

the Expo opens its doors
on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the
Linn County Fair & Expo
Center, 3700 Knox Butte
Road, Albany.
Expo hours are Tues-
day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Wednesday, Nov. 15, from
10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Thurs-
day, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. The Expo features
more than 250,000 square
feet of exhibitors, equip-
ment, seminars, classes and
food.
The sponsoring Willa-
mette Valley Agriculture
Association is a nonprofit
educational and trade orga-
nization whose members are
either exhibitors, sponsors
of the WVAE, or both.
Proceeds from the Expo
go toward the association’s
college scholarships, said
the association’s manager,
Jill Ingalls. She and her hus-
band, Scott Ingalls, the Expo
producer, have coordinated
the Expo since its inception.
Along with exhibits,
seminars, classes and oth-
er presentations, attendees
can enjoy events such as
the popular Dine Around
Oregon — a buffet-style
progressive dinner now in
its sixth year — an antique
farm equipment display and
an educational area hosted
by the Oregon Women for
Agriculture.
Dine Around Oregon is
5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday,
Nov. 15. This year, 850 tick-
ets are available. As before,
once the sponsors have all
received their allotment the
tickets will are sold online
only at www.wvaexpo.com.
The Antique Farm Equip-
ment Display is in Cascade
Hall, and vendors will occu-
py the rest of the space.
The Willamette Valley
Ag Expo is open to visitors
of all ages. Current FFA and
4-H participants are encour-
aged to attend. Admission is
$4 per person and parking is
free.
