SPRAYFIELD MANAGER
The Port of Sunnyside is seeking a Sprayfield Manager for
the Industrial Waste Water Treatment Facility (IWWTF).
This position is responsible for the day to day operations
of the sprayfields, maintenance of all Port equipment,
communication with various government agencies and
supervision of small staff. The Sprayfield Manager is in
charge of ensuring the fluidity of the waste water
treatment process at the IWWTF.
Desired qualifications are: college degree, supervisory
experience, knowledge of commercial irrigation systems,
good team building aptitude and farm operations. Skills
required are: equipment maintenance, computer skills,
and budgeting.
The position is full time, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am
to 5:00 pm with some evening meetings. Salary range is
$40,000 – $60,000 DOQ plus an excellent benefit
package including medical, dental and PERS retirement.
