9 a.m.: Pesticides and Their Health Effects – Knowing about pesticide hazards can help
you understand why wearing specific personal protective equipment and following precau-
tions, as noted on the label, are so important. General information and updates provided.
10 a.m.: Case Studies and Pesticide Events in the News – Pesticides frequently made
the news over the past few years and that fueled 13 pesticide-related bills being introduced
in the Oregon State Legislature. We will examine a variety of high profile pesticide cases
and events meant to help you avoid making the news.
11 a.m.: Cannabis and Pesticides – Thinking about growing the latest crop in the news?
Cannabis has its own pests and that means pesticides might be needed. Find out what you
need to know to protect yourself and your employees.
