PENDLETON — The Round-Up is just
around the corner, so now is a good time
to brush up on the history of the event
by touring the Pendleton Round-Up and
Happy Canyon Hall of Fame, 1114 SW
Court Ave.
The Hall of Fame is open Tuesday-Sat-
urday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., March through
November. Admission is always free, but
donations are welcomed.

‘COLOR THE BLUES FOR AUTISM
WALK’ IS AUG. 13
LA GRANDE — Autism Society’s An-
nual Color the Blues for Autism Walk and
Family Fun Day is Aug. 13, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
at the Union County Fairgrounds 3601 N.
Second St.
All registered walkers get a t-shirt
designed for event and lunch. Pre-regis-
ter to guarantee a shirt size, or sign up the
day of the event.
Volunteers are also needed to throw
color at the walkers. For pre-registration

student through projects of their choos-

scholarships are available for those 18
and under.
A four-session class on “Creative
Drama” for ages 8-12 begins Aug. 10 and
meets Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m., through
Aug. 31. Rikki Jo Hickey guides young
students to explore how moving their
bodies in space can help them tell stories
and create characters on stage. Students
will engage their voices and bodies as
they make sounds, speak, jump, imagine,
pretend, act and have fun. Youth scholar-
ships are available.
