Grande Ronde Symphony wraps up concert series

AINES — To fi nish out the
2022 season, Grande Ronde
Symphony will be sponsoring
the second Chamber and Small
Ensemble Series (CASES) concert
on Saturday, June 18, at the Unit-
ed Methodist Church in Haines.
The show, titled “Dulcimer
H
Moon in the Shadow of the Elk-
horns,” features Heidi Muller and
Bob Webb. It begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults
and $1 for students. Special
family/group pricing is avail-
able. Season passes to CASES
concerts are $50.

Muller is a local award-win-
ning songwriter, singer, guitarist
and mountain dulcimer player.
She’s produced nine CDs and
been featured at such classic
folk venues as the Kerrville Folk
Festival, Tumbleweed Music

Festival, Northwest Folklife and
Kentucky Music Week. She
organizes Dulcimer Week an-
nually at Wallowa Lake Camp,
bringing in nationally recognized
dulcimer teachers to the week-
long workshop.
Muller will be joined by her
partner, Webb, who will accom-
pany her on guitar, mandolin,
dulcimer and cello. Webb was a
member of the original Mountain
Stage house band of NPR fame.
From their home in Joseph,
Muller and Webb have produced
four CDs together: “Up Hurri-
cane Creek,” “Dulcimer Moon,”
“Light the Winter’s Dark” and
“Seeing Things.”
