3 SOUND CHECK WHAT’S PLAYING AROUND THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST JUNE 8�15, 2022 Courthouse concerts begin June 9 in Enterprise Go! staff E NTERPRISE — Locals and visitors to Wallowa County will once again be treated to live music every Thursday on the shady lawn of the county court- house in Enterprise. The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance has presented the Courthouse Concert Series since 2006. “Everything from folksongs to brass bands will delight audiences as they pause for some relaxing outdoor time with family and friends,” said Janis Carper, WVMA executive director. The opening concert on Thursday, June 9, will feature Wallowa County’s own Jeze- bel’s Mother (Carolyn Lochert and Janis Carper) with special guest Tracy Spring from Belling- ham, Washington. Wallowa Valley Music Alliance/Contributed Image Tracy Spring and Jezebel’s Mother will kick off the Courthouse Concert Series on Thursday, June 9, 5:30-7 p.m. in Enterprise. Concerts run from 5:30- 7 p.m., and are free and open to the public. Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. The Courthouse Concert Series schedule can be found at wvmusicalliance.org.
