Ransom Stoddard (James Stewart), an ex-attorney from the East, returns with his wife (Vera Miles) to the once-lawless city of Shinbone, where he was forced into a show- down with the bullying Liberty Valance (Lee Marvin). Stoddard recalls the pivotal role Tom Doniphon (John Wayne) played in helping him stand up to vicious Valance. Kiawentiio, Violah Beauvais, Rainbow Dickerson, Joel Montgrand and Paulina Alexis head the largely indigenous Canadian cast. Zoe Lister-Jones (“Lola Versus,” “Band Aid”) co-wrote, co-produced, co-directed and stars in this 2021 comedy about Liza (Lister-Jones), who encounters an eclectic cast of characters as she ventures to make it her last party before the world comes to an end. Helen Hunt, Fred Armisen, Olivia Wilde, Logan Marshall-Green and Bradley Whitford headline a top-shelf cast. “Movie: No Exit” From director Damien Power (“Killing Ground”) comes this thriller about Darby (Havana Rose Liu, “Mayday”), a college stu- dent stranded by a blizzard at a highway rest stop who stumbles across an abducted girl in a van in the parking lot.
