Magazine L A GRANDE — Side A Brew- ing is once again celebrat- ing the dark days of winter with a special festival. The Dead of Winter Festival is happening Saturday, Feb. 19, 6-9 p.m., on the back patio of Side A, 1219 Washington Ave. “There will be lawn games, bonfi res, small bites food, and word on the street is Travis Hansen is bringing back his famous Side A Chili just for the event,” said Caiti Burke, Side A event coordinator. She said the event includes access to the brewery. “Anyone who hasn’t had a chance to tour our brewery will get to see it close up,” she said. There is no cover for the fes- tival, and all ages are welcome. Burke said there will be a token system for purchasing and tasting beers. She said most of the featured beers will be “dark and strong.” The Dead of Winter Festival will be separate from normal dining in the pub.
