AKER CITY — Sarah Vitort
and Scott Gilmore can’t wait
to hit the road to tour as the duo
Fox and Bones.
And they’re starting in Baker
City.
“We’ll be on the road until the
end of March,” Vitort said. “It’s
exciting — this is our longest
tour since before the pandemic.”
Their live concert is Friday,
Feb. 18, at Churchill School, 3451
Broadway St. (enter through the
parking lot on 16th Street).
Doors open at 6 p.m. Tick-
ets are $10 in advance at www.
churchillbaker.com, or $12 at the
door. Admission is free for fully
vaccinated youth age 15 and
younger who attend with an adult.
For more details, visit the website.
Vitort and Gilmore live in Port-
land. Pre-pandemic they toured
up to 10 months a year, includ-
ing an annual trip to Europe.
“We were quite busy,” Vitort
said.
It all stopped in March 2020.
“There was nothing. And that
was our living,” she said.
But they adjusted by perform-
ing on livestream, and off ering
driveway concerts.
“We’ve made it work,” she
said. “We got very creative.
When everyone was stuck at
home, livestream was really fun.”
Vitort grew up in a musical
family and started playing guitar
at age 7. She began writing
songs in her mid-20s.
Gilmore’s background is
piano and guitar, and he started
writing and recording while in
high school.
