What’s Available NOW On
“Random Rings:
Seasons 1 & 2”
(Jan. 26)
This series of
animated comedy
shorts that originally
aired on Disney
Channel features
Disney characters,
primarily the cast of
“Big City Greens,”
making random
calls to strangers a
la “Crank Yankers,”
except here the calls
are all scripted to convey the feeling of catching
someone off guard.
“The Sandlot”
(Available now)
“The Ice Age:
Adventures of
Buck Wild”
(Jan. 28)
The sixth film in the
animated “Ice Age”
franchise follows
weasel Buck and his
possum pals Crash
and Eddie and a few
new friends as they
go on a prehistoric
mission to save the
Lost World from

Doddsy from EOAlive lost 40 pounds so far
“Like Mike 2”
(Available now)
Scotty Smalls (Tom
Guiry) desperately
wants to fit in with
the other boys in his
new neighborhood,
but one thing stands
in his way: They all
play baseball, and he
knows nothing about
the sport. When
the local star player
(Mike Vitar) takes
Scotty under his
wing, Scotty learns the game and builds valuable
friendships. This 1993 heartwarming story also
stars Patrick Renna and Marty York.
It’s gotta be the
shoes. Predictable
and stuffed with the
standard sports-flick
cliches, this 2006
sequel to 2002’s “Like
Mike” is nonetheless
an enjoyable and
family-friendly watch.
Credit charming
young actor Jascha
Washington (“Big
Momma’s House 2”),
who finds the magic sneakers this time around
and becomes a hoop phenom, and Kel Mitchell,
providing ample comic relief as his uncle. Michael
Beach also stars.
